The Plot Of The King: Eternal Monarch

As to the story line, or the plot of the new series, Kim Eun Sook (the screenwriter) has decided to keep it simple and out of this world (all pun intended). The movie sets on the story of two parallel worlds / universes. In the first, Korea is an empire ruled by a Monarch, while the second universe has Korea as it looks today.

Evil forces began opposition and plans to destroy the first universe, and this takes the emperor on a course and a journey into the ‘new Korea’ where he sought the help of detective to help save his world.
